PROUD ONE -- And proud it should be!  The Proud One is perhaps the most popular of the African Plains elephant series.  Representing luck and good fortune, the Proud One depicts the elephant's rise to power in its adulthood.  After following its mother as a baby, playing, finding its way home only to grow up becoming tall and strong, the elephant finally achieves its long sought position in its herd hence becoming the Proud One.
